Meet Cierra Andreas
A Saskatchewan-raised dental professional who brings continued learning, practical guidance and a thoughtful approach to her role at Willowgreen Dental.
Cierra grew up in Wadena, Saskatchewan, and moved to Saskatoon in 2020. She quickly felt at home in the city and now proudly considers Saskatoon home.
Her path in dentistry began with dental assisting and continued into dental hygiene and focused myofunctional therapy training. That progression gives Cierra a broad understanding of the dental setting and a genuine appreciation for patient education.

Her path in dentistry
From Wadena to a career in oral health
Cierra's interest in dentistry developed into a career built step by step. She attended the University of Saskatchewan and obtained her Certificate in Dental Assisting in 2021.
After a few years of working as a dental assistant, she decided to return to school and continue pursuing her goals in oral healthcare. She moved to Ottawa, Ontario, to attend the Canadian National Institute of Health.
In 2025, Cierra earned her Advanced Diploma of Dental Hygiene, graduating with Honours. She has also completed specialized training in myofunctional therapy and is excited to bring that learning to her work with patients.

Cierra aims to make each appointment understandable and useful. Her approach centres on listening, explaining the purpose behind recommendations and helping patients feel prepared for the work they will do between visits.

Every patient arrives with a different history, routine and concern. Cierra begins by hearing what matters to the patient and gathering relevant information.
Explain the “why”
Clear explanations can make a care plan easier to follow. Cierra takes time to review instructions and demonstrate techniques in approachable language.
Support steady practice
When home practice is part of care, Cierra helps patients understand what to work on and uses follow-up visits to review progress and technique.
Her role at Willowgreen
Supporting myofunctional therapy patients
Cierra provides patient education and guided care within Willowgreen Dental's myofunctional therapy program. Her role is centred on helping patients understand their individual plan and practise assigned activities with clear instruction.
- Reviews relevant concerns, history and goals during appointments
- Demonstrates assigned oral and facial muscle exercises
- Checks technique and discusses home-practice routines
- Communicates with the Willowgreen dental team when coordinated care is appropriate
Connected care

Myofunctional concerns can overlap with dental, orthodontic, medical or speech-related needs. Cierra works within the Willowgreen Dental setting so relevant findings can be discussed with the dental team and referrals to outside professionals can be considered when appropriate.
Her background in dental assisting and dental hygiene education also helps her communicate comfortably within a clinical environment while keeping each patient's day-to-day experience in view.
Care is individualized: consultation findings guide next steps. No single therapy plan or referral pathway is right for every patient.
Outside the clinic
At home in Saskatoon
Cierra moved to Saskatoon in 2020 and proudly considers the city home. Away from work, she enjoys going for walks, learning new hobbies and spending time with her dog.
That curiosity carries into her professional life, where she continues to build her knowledge and share what she has learned with patients in a practical, encouraging way.
